Hi, I’m Sriram.

I started my career outside software and eventually transitioned into engineering. I began with frontend and over time found myself learning from places that didn’t always look like frontend work — delivery, systems, communication, platform thinking, and the realities of shipping software.

Building Beyond Components is where I write about frontend, engineering lessons, distributed teams, performance, and the things I learned outside UI.

This is a place to document observations, share experiences, and think out loud about how software gets built and delivered.
